Welcome to the Marteller hut

The Marteller hut is situated in the southern Ortler mountain group and is surrounded by 15 three-thousanders. Mountain and nature lovers appreciate the Martell Valley as one of the most unspoilt high mountain valleys in South Tyrol.

We close the Marteller hut Friday 7th of October 2011 and would thank all our guests for their visit! The hut will be closed until 25 of February 2012.

Our refuge is an ideal starting point for hiking and high mountain tours in summer and for ski mountaineering tours in winter and spring.

Our hut is open from the beginning of March to the beginning of May and from the middle of June to the middle of October.

The Marteller hut also is a good tip for a day hike. We spoil you with typical South Tyrolean dishes.
